What just happened!!!!!

OMG, if you haven’t heard, “Single Ladies” got dumped by VH1.

The ATL produced series from Queen Latifah‘s Flavor Unit will be ending its run after three, I would like to say “successful” seasons.

The season 3 finale is still scheduled to air on March 24, but after that; it’s over!

VH1 said in a statement……………………

“We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies, although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creative and producers, as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”

OK, I hear you but I’m at a loss for words! WHY this show?  Which has been delivering good, competitive ratings is being sent to the dumpster?  Oh! Is it because it’s not Reality TV and know one’s running around cursing, jumping over tables, in rehab and/or making plum idiots of themselves?

Or did the firing of Stacey Dash and the fact that Stacy A. Littljohn left who was the creator/executive producer?  This is the thanks we get for waiting a full year and a half for season 3 to launch?

This has thrown me for a loop; I mean after all I though the show was doing well which is exactly what the # show.   After all Jay-Z said it best; “numbers don’t lie”

Its season 3 opener brought in 2.6 million viewers. According to Deadline, the premiere airing and its same night encore combined, “Single Ladies” grew each season: posting 2.9 for the season premiere, 3.2 million for the Season 2 opener and 3.5 million for Season 3.

So to put it as plain as the #’s show VH1, what-yoo-problem-is! I know LeToya is pissed; this was her come up; at least LisaRaye been in the game for all 3 seasons!

Single Ladies starred LisaRaye McCoy, Denise Vasi, Charity Shea, D.B. Woodside, Travis Winfrey, Terrell Tilford, Harold “House” Moore, LeToya Luckett, Damien Dante Wayans and Lesley-Ann Brandt.

The series finale will air March 24 at 9/8c.
